Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50 mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

1/May/2012: Almond Road yielded a 'medium' catch of 83 mosquitoes and included 14 Culex annulirostris. Farm 347 had a 'high' catch of 175 mosquitoes, with 6 Culex annulirostris.

26/Apr/2012: Both sites trapped 'low' mosquito numbers.

23/Apr/2012: There was one Ross River viral isolate from Aedes theobaldi trapped at Farm 347 on 17/April/12.

17/Apr/2012: Both sites trapped 'high' mosquito numbers. Almond Road had a catch of 123 and included 58 Culex annulirostris. Farm 347 yielded 450 mosquitoes, with 249 Culex annulirostris.

10/Apr/2012: Both sites trapped 'low' mosquito numbers with the cool weather.

10/Apr/2012: There were two Ross River viral isolates from Aedes theobaldi trapped at Farm 347 on 3/April/12.

5/Apr/2012: There was one Kokobera viral isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Almond Rd on 20/Mar/2012.

3/Apr/2012: Farm 347 yielded a 'very high' catch of 1,533 mosquitoes, with 513 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road produced a 'high' catch of 302, with 247 Culex annulirostris.

3/Apr/2012: There was one Kokobera viral isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Almond Rd on 13/Mar/2012, and five Sindbis viral isolates from Culex annulirostris trapped at Almond Rd on 20/Mar/2012.

30/Mar/2012: There were several arboviral isolates including 2 KOKV and 1 SINV from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347 on 20/Mar/2012, and 2 RRV from Culex annulirostris trapped at Almond Rd on 20/Mar/2012.

27/Mar/2012: Farm 347 produced a 'high' catch of 237 and included 186 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road continued with the 'very high' numbers (2,050 mosquitoes) and included 1,743 Culex annulirostris.

27/Mar/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 5/Mar, 12/Mar or 18/Mar/2012.

26/Mar/2012: Two of the flaviviruses from the 23/Mar were identified as Kokobera virus. There were a further two flaviviruses, this time from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347 on 20/Mar/2012.

26/Mar/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 5/Feb or 27/Feb/2012.

23/Mar/2012: There were three flavivirus isolates from Culex annulirostris trapped at Almond Road on 13/Mar/2012.

20/Mar/2012: Both sites trapped 'very high' mosquito numbers. Farm 347 collected 8,172 mosquitoes, with 3,885 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road yielded 4,628 mosquitoes with 4,068 Culex annulirostris.

20/Mar/2012: There was one Ross River viral isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Almond Road on 13/Mar/2012.

13/Mar/2012: Almond Road had a 'very high' collection of 4,286 and included 4,180 Culex annulirostris. Farm 347 yielded a 'high' collection of 782 mosquitoes and included 372 Culex annulirostris.

7/Mar/2012: Farm 347 yielded a 'very high' collection of 1,605 mosquitoes and included 901 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road had a 'high' collection of 251 and included 178 Culex annulirostris.

6/Mar/2012: The flaviviruses isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347 on 21/Feb/2012 was identified as Kokobera virus.

21/Feb/2012: Farm 347 yielded a 'very high' collection of 3,323 mosquitoes and included 1,851 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road had a 'high' collection of 576 and included 576 Culex annulirostris.

17/Feb/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 29/Jan or 12/Feb/2012.

14/Feb/2012: Mosquito numbers were 'very high' from both sites. Farm 347 yielded 1,346 mosquitoes, with 807 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road produced 3,151 mosquitoes, with 630 Culex annulirostris.

7/Feb/2012: Both sites trapped 'high' mosquito numbers this week. Almond Road produced 434 mosquitoes, with 151 Culex annulirostris. Farm 347 yielded 929, with 85 Culex annulirostris.

7/Feb/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 15/Jan or 22/Jan/2012.

31/Jan/2012: Farm 347 trapped 'high' numbers (775), with279 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road also had a 'high' catch producing 204 mosquitoes, with 72 Culex annulirostris.

24/Jan/2012: Mosquito numbers are down this week, although 'high' from both sites. Farm 347 trapped 281 mosquitoes, with 219 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road yielded 922, with 400 Culex annulirostris.

24/Jan/2012: There was one Ross River viral isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Almond Road on 18/Jan/2012.

23/Jan/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 8/Jan/2012.

18/Jan/2012: Both sites produced 'very high' catches this week. Almond Road yielded 1,411 mosquitoes and included 753 Culex annulirostris. Farm 347 trapped a total of 2,883, with 2,082 Culex annulirostris.

11/Jan/2012: Farm 347 yielded a 'very high' catch of 1,021 mosquitoes, with 333 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road yielded a 'high' collection of 453 and included 288 Culex annulirostris.

11/Jan/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 18/Dec, 27/Dec/2011, or 2/Jan/2012.

4/Jan/2012: Mosquito numbers have increased dramatically this week, with a 'very high' collection of 4,264 this week from Farm 347, the collection being dominated by 3,917 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road had a trap failure.

29/Dec/2011: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 27/Nov and 4/Dec. There was 8 seronversions to MVEV from the bleed taken on 12/Dec.

20/Dec/2011: Farm 347 yielded 'high' mosquito numbers of 872, with 527 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road had a trap failure.

13/Dec/2011: Farm 347 yielded 'high' mosquito numbers of 179, with 113 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 'low' numbers.

5/Dec/2011: Farm 347 yielded 'medium' mosquito numbers of 92, with 69 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 'low' numbers.

29/Nov/2011: Farm 347 yielded 'high' mosquito numbers of 669, with 547 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 'low' numbers due to a partial trap failure.

25/Nov/2011: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 20/Nov.

22/Nov/2011: Both sites yielded 'low' mosquito numbers.

21/Nov/2011: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 27/Oct/2011, 6/Nov or 13/Nov.

17/Oct/2011: Farm 347 yielded 'medium' mosquito numbers of 56, with 37 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 'low' numbers.
