14/May/2012: There was one isolate of EHV from Aedes theobaldi trapped at Yenda on 1/May/2012.

7/May/2012: Both sites continue to trap 'high' mosquito numbers, although few Culex annulirostris were collected. Hanwood yielded 121 and included 80 Culex quinquefasciatus. Yenda trapped 142 and included 98 Culex quinquefasciatus.

4/May/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 20/Mar or 27/Mar/2012.

1/May/2012: Both site continue to trap 'high' mosquito numbers, which is well above average. Hanwood collected 370 mosquitoes including 8 Culex annulirostris. Yenda trapped 455 and included 11 Culex annulirostris.

22/Apr/2012: Both sites trapped 'high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood yielded 216 and included 28 Culex annulirostris. Yenda trapped 400 and included 58 Culex annulirostris.

16/Apr/2012: Hanwood trapped 'low' mosquito numbers. Yenda had a high catch of 285, although numbers of Culex annulirostris have dropped off with only 58 being trapped.

10/Apr/2012: Mosquito numbers were 'low' with the cold spell.

10/Apr/2012: There were three arboviral isolates today, including one Ross River from Aedes theobaldi trapped at Yenda on 2/April/12, one Sindbis virus from Aedes theobaldi trapped at Yenda on 26/Mar/12, and one Kokobera virus from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood on 19/March/2012.

5/Apr/2012: There were three Sindbis isolates from Culex annulirostris and one flavivirus from Aedes vittiger trapped at Yenda on 26/Mar/12.

3/Apr/2012: Both sites trapped 'very high' mosquito numbers. Yenda collected 2,649 mosquitoes, including 1,273 Culex annulirostris. Hanwood yielded 5,516 mosquitoes and included 4,847 Culex annulirostris.

3/Apr/2012: There was one Kunjin and one Kokobera virus isolate each from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood on 19/March/2012.

30/Mar/2012: There were several arboviral isolates made from the Hanwood collection on 19/Mar/2012. This includes four RRV (three from Culex annulirostris and one from Aedes theobaldi), two SINV and one flavivirus from Culex annulirostris.

26/Mar/2012: Hanwood had a trap failure. A collection from Yenda yielded a 'very high' collection of 2,944 mosquitoes including 2,114 Culex annulirostris.

26/Mar/2012: There were two Ross River viral isolates and one Flavivirus from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood on 19/March/2012.

26/Mar/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 22/Feb or 27/Feb/2012.

19/Mar/2012: The largest mosquito collection for the entire history of the NSW Arbovirus Surveillance Program was made this week with an 'extreme' collection of 18,802 mosquitoes, dominated by 15,987 Culex annulirostris.

8/Mar/2012: All the flaviviruses mentioned below on the 28/Feb were identified as Kokobera virus.

27/Feb/2012: Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 2,064 mosquitoes dominated by 2,004 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded a 'high' collection of 410 with 344 Culex annulirostris.

28/Feb/2012: There were several isolates from the mosquito collection from 22/Feb/2012. This includes 4RRV from Hanwood (3 from Culex annulirostris and one from Anopheles annulipes), two flaviviruses from Hanwood and one flavivirus from Barren Box. The latter were all from Culex annulirostris.

22/Feb/2012: Both sites trapped 'very high' mosquito numbers this week. Hanwood had a collection of 3,907 mosquitoes and included 2,694 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded a catch of 251, including 2079 Culex annulirostris.

17/Feb/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 1/Feb, 7/Feb or 14/Feb/2012.

13/Feb/2012: Both sites continue to trap 'very high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood yielded a collection of 2,999 mosquitoes with 2,190 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box produced a trap of 1,438 dominated by 1,147 Culex annulirostris.

7/Feb/2012: Both sites trapped 'very high' mosquito numbers this week. Hanwood yielded a collection of 1,244 and included 721 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box produced a trap of 1,314 mosquitoes dominated by 713 Culex annulirostris.

7/Feb/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 17/Jan or 24/Jan/2012.

31/Jan/2012: Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 2,740 with 809 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 'high' numbers (359), with 186 Culex annulirostris.

23/Jan/2012: Both sites continue with the 'very high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood collected 2,705 mosquitoes, with 1,860 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 2,694 and included 1,.859 Culex annulirostris.

23/Jan/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 20/Dec/2011 or 10/Jan/2012.

16/Jan/2012: Mosquito numbers were 'very high' from both sites. Hanwood collected 3,668 mosquitoes with 2,304 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 2,782, with 2168 Culex annulirostris.

18/Jan/2012: There was one Ross River virus isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Barren Box on 4/Jan/2012.

11/Jan/2012: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 13/Dec/2011 or 4/Jan/2012.

9/Jan/2012: Mosquitoes are down this week, but still 'very high' from both sites. Hanwood collected 2,468 mosquitoes, dominated by 1,987 Anopheles annulipes and 474 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box trapped 1,203 mosquitoes, with 895 Culex annulirostris.

3/Jan/2012: Mosquito numbers have increased dramatically this week with 'very high' collcetions from both sites. Hanwood collected 9,189 mosquitoes, dominated by 8,300 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box trapped 4,979 mosquitoes, with 4,657 Culex annulirostris.

29/Dec/2011: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 29/Nov and 6/Dec/2011.

19/Dec/2011: Hanwood had a 'high' collection of 896 dominated by 427 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 'very high' numbers (1,055), with 758 Culex annulirostris.

12/Dec/2011: Mosquito numbers continue to be well up and very much above average. Hanwood had a 'high' collection of 835 dominated by 704 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 'very high' numbers (1,170), with 1,096 Culex annulirostris.

5/Dec/2011: Mosquito numbers are well up and very much above average. Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 1,657 dominated by 1,486 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 'high' numbers (913), with 897 Culex annulirostris.

2/Dec/2011: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 22/Nov.

28/Nov/2011: Mosquito numbers are well up and very much above average. Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 1,628 dominated by 1,529 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 'high' numbers (712), with 686 Culex annulirostris.

21/Nov/2011: Both sites collected 'high' mosquito numbers this week, and collections are above average. Hanwood trapped 422 mosquitoes, with 381 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 227 mosquitoes and included 205 Culex annulirostris.

21/Nov/2011: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 27/Oct/2011, 3/Nov, 8/Nov or 15/Nov.

15/Nov/2011: Both sites collected 'high' mosquito numbers this week, and collections are above average. Hanwood trapped 195 mosquitoes, with 112 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 517 mosquitoes and included 454 Culex annulirostris.

8/Nov/2011: Hanwood yielded 'low' numbers due to a partial trap failure. Box yielded 'high' numbers of 153 and included 137 Culex annulirostris.

3/Nov/2011: Both sites collected 'high' mosquito numbers this week. Hanwood trapped 153 mosquitoes and included 104 Culex australicus. Barren Box yielded 107 mosquitoes and included 95 Culex annulirostris.

24/Oct/2011: Hanwood had a 'high' collection of 224 mosquitoes, with 77 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box trapped 'medium' numbers (71), with 34 Culex annulirostris.

17/Oct/2011: Hanwood had a 'medium' collection of 68 mosquitoes, with 50 Culex australicus. Barren Box trapped 'low' numbers.
