28/Apr/2010: Hanwood had a 'high' catch of 144, with 30 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded a 'low' catch.

6/Apr/2010: Mosquito numbers continue to be well above average and 'high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 107 mosquitoes, with 65 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box collected a total of 413 and included 378 Culex annulirostris.

1/Apr/2010: There was one flavivirus isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood on 22/Mar/2010.

30/Mar/2010: There was one Kokobera isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood on 2/Mar/2010.

28/Mar/2010: Mosquito numbers continue to be well above average. Hanwood yielded 'high' numbers (728) and included 539 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box had a 'very high' catch of 1,431 and included 1307 Culex annulirostris.

20/Mar/2010: Mosquito numbers have risen dramatically and were 'very high' from both sites. These mosquito densities are unprecedented for this time of the year. Hanwood collected 1,233 mosquitoes, with 1,179 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 1,231 mosquitoes, with 1,085 Culex annulirostris.

15/Mar/2010: Hanwood trapped 'low' mosquito numbers. Barren Box had a 'high' catch of 348 mosquitoes, which included 342 Culex annulirostris.

11/Mar/2010: There were three flavivirus isolates made from Culex annulirostris mosquitoes trapped on 22/Feb/2010, all were Kokobera virus; two from Barren Box and one from Hanwood.

10/Mar/2010: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 15/Feb/2010, 22/Feb or 1/Mar.

8/Mar/2010: 'High' mosquito numbers were collected from both sites. Hawood trapped 517 mosquitoes, dominated by 431 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded 212 mosquitoes and included 198 Culex annulirostris.

5/Mar/2010: There were two flavivirus isolates made from Culex annulirostris mosquitoes trapped on 22/Feb/2010. One each was made from both sites.

2/Mar/2010: Hanwood had a 'high' collection of 506 mosquitoes dominated by 459 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box trapped 'low' numbers.

22/Feb/2010: Mosquito numbers are again up and 'very high' from both sites. Hawood collected 1,701 mosquitoes, dominated by 1,598 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box trapped 1,107 mosquitoes and included 971 Culex annulirostris.

16/Feb/2010: Mosquito numbers are down upon the previous weeks, but still 'high' from both sites. Hanwood collected 300 mosquitoes, which included 186 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box trapped 282, with 266 Culex annulirostris.

16/Feb/2010: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 4/Jan/2010, 11/Jan, 18/Jan, 25/Jan, 1/Feb or 8/Feb.

9/Feb/2010: Mosquito numbers continue to be elevated. Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 1,274 mosquitoes, strongly dominated by 1,184 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box also had Culex annulirostris as the predominate mosquito being trapped with 523 out of a total of 603.

2/Feb/2010: Mosquito numbers were up this week. Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 1,274 mosquitoes, strongly dominated by 1,184 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box also had Culex annulirostris as the predominate mosquito being trapped with 592 out of a total of 701.

26/Jan/2010: Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 2,453 mosquitoes, strongly dominated by 1,950 Culex annulirostris. Barren box had a 'high' collection of 820 mosquitoes, including 464 Culex annulirostris.

19/Jan/2010: Both sites continue to collect 'high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood trapped 173 mosquitoes, with 75 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box had a collection of 345 with 120 Culex annulirostris.

11/Jan/2010: Mosquito numbers were well up this week and 'very high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 2,574 mosquitoes which included 2,345 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box collected 1,149 mosquitoes dominated by 1,052 Culex annulirostris.

7/Jan/2010: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 6/Dec/2009, 14/Dec, 20/Dec, or 28/Dec.

5/Jan/2010: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 9/Nov/2009, 16/Nov, 23/Nov, or 30/Nov.

4/Jan/2010: Both sites continue to collect 'high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood trapped 231 mosquitoes, with 151 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box had a collection of 128 with 62 Culex annulirostris.

29/Dec/2009: Both sites trapped 'high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood trapped 862 mosquitoes, with 575 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box had a collection of 313 with 236 Culex annulirostris.

21/Dec/2009: Mosquito numbers were down upon the previous week but still 'high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 278 mosquitoes with 163 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box had a collection of 159 with 152 Culex annulirostris.

16/Dec/2009: Mosquito numbers are well up this week and much higher than average. Hanwood trapped 'high' numbers with a collection of 670 mosquitoes, including 352 Culex annulirostris. Barren Box yielded even greater numbers; a 'very high' catch of 1,578, which was dominated by 1,541 Culex annulirostris.

8/Dec/2009: Hanwood trapped 'high' mosquito numbers (152), which included 65 Culex annulirostris. Mosquito numbers were 'low' at Barren Box.

31/Nov/2009: Hanwood trapped 'medium' mosquito numbers (59), which included 24 Culex annulirostris. Mosquito numbers were 'low' at Barren Box.

24/Nov/2009: Mosquito numbers were 'low'.

17/Nov/2009: Mosquito numbers were 'low'.

10/Nov/2009: The first collection of the season trapped 'low' mosquito numbers from both sites.
