Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50 mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

26/Apr/2007: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from all sites.

19/Apr/2007: Wharf Road trapped 'medium' numbers (89), with 48 Culex sitiens. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

5/Apr/2007: Maze Park trapped 'medium' numbers (53), with 20 Aedes vigilax. Lambert Park had a 'medium' catch of 51, with 22 Culex annulirostris. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

28/Mar/2007: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from all sites.

21/Mar/2007: Mosquito numbers have risen again, with a 'high' catch of 510 from Wharf Road, including 192 Aedes vigilax. Maze Park also yielded 'high' numbers (163), with 68 Culex annulirostris. Lambert Park had a 'high' catch (113), with 75 Culex annulirostris. Darvall Park produced 'high' numbers (145), with 102 Culex annulirostris. The Golf Course  had a 'medium' catch (97), with 31 Aedes vigilax.

14/Mar/2007: Mosquito numbers are down this week, with a 'medium' catch of 51 from Wharf Road. The Golf Course also had a 'medium' catch (57), with 25 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

7/Mar/2007: Wharf Road continues to have 'high' numbers (334), with 269 Aedes vigilax. A 'medium' trap collection was made from Lambert Park with 65 mosquitoes, including 24 Culex annulirostris. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

28/Feb/2007: Wharf Road again had 'high' numbers (164), with 116 Aedes vigilax. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

20/Feb/2007: Wharf Road continues to trap 'high' numbers (209), with 180 Aedes vigilax. Maze Park had a 'medium' catch of 61, with 25 Aedes vigilax.  A 'medium' trap collection was made from Lambert Park with 81 mosquitoes, including 44 Aedes notoscriptus. Mirium Park also yielded 'medium' numbers (51) and included 18 Aedes vigilax. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

14/Feb/2007: Mosquito numbers were well down this week. Wharf Road trapped 'high' numbers (121), with 102 Aedes vigilax. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

7/Feb/2007: Wharf Road yielded 'very high' numbers collecting 1,062 mosquitoes, dominated by 948 Aedes vigilax. Lambert Park trapped 'high' numbers (117), with 52 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park had a 'medium' catch of 90, with 65 Aedes vigilax. Darvall Park had a 'medium' catch of 67 mosquitoes, with 51 Aedes vigilax. Mirium Park also yielded 'medium' numbers (64) and included 33 Aedes vigilax. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

1/Feb/2007: Wharf Road again trapped 'high' numbers (540), including 487 Aedes vigilax. Lambert Park collected 'high' numbers (139), with 97 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park had a 'medium' catch of 51, with 21 Aedes notoscriptus. Mirium Park also yielded 'medium' numbers (57) and included  46 Aedes notoscriptus. Darvall Park had a 'medium' catch of 62 mosquitoes, with 29 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

24/Jan/2007: Wharf Road continues with the 'high' numbers (347), including 301 Aedes vigilax. Lambert Park trapped 'high' numbers (230), with 136 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park had a 'medium' catch of 85, with 34 Aedes vigilax. Mirium Park also yielded 'medium' numbers (75) and included  40 Aedes vigilax. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

18/Jan/2007: Mosquito numbers continue to climb. Wharf Road had a massive catch of 806 mosquitoes ('high'), with 533 Aedes vigilax. Maze Park also had a 'high' catch (110), with 66 Aedes vigilax. Miriam Park produced 'high' numbers (108), with 48 Aedes notoscriptus. Darvall Park yielded 'medium' (69) numbers with 33 Aedes vigilax. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

11/Jan/2007: Mosquito numbers were well up this week. Wharf Road trapped 'high' numbers (151), with 131 Aedes vigilax. Maze Park also had a large catch (100), with 44 Aedes vigilax. Lambert Park produced a 'high' catch of 207, with 121 Aedes notoscriptus. Miriam Park trapped 'medium' numbers (97), dominated by 60 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

3/Jan/2007: Mosquito collections were 'medium' from both Wharf Road and Lambert Park. The former site trapped 75 mosquitoes, dominated by 46 Aedes vigilax, while Lambert Park collected a total of 69 and included 42 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

19/Dec/2006: Mosquito numbers were well up this week as the insecticide treatments of Homebush Bay were not undertaken during the recent king tides; the helicopter that treats the site was off fighting bushfires. As a consequence, numbers were 'high' (254) at Wharf Road, with 226 Aedes vigilax. A 'medium' trap collection was made from Lambert Park with 89 mosquitoes, including 52 Aedes notoscriptus. Miriam Park had 'medium' numbers (62), with 39 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

12/Dec/2006: Lambert Park trapped 'medium' mosquito numbers with a collection of 60, dominated by 43 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

6/Dec/2006: Lambert park had a 'high' catch of 121, dominated by 106 Aedes notoscriptus. Miriam Park had 'medium' (97) numbers, with 89 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.

1/Dec/2006: Wharf Road had a 'medium' collection of 54, with 38 Aedes vigilax. Maze Park also produced 'medium' numbers (54), with 29 Aedes notoscriptus. A 'medium' trap collection was made from Lambert Park with 63 mosquitoes, including 50 Aedes notoscriptus. Miriam Park additionally had 'medium' numbers (67), with 59 Aedes notoscriptus. All other sites yielded 'low' numbers.
