15/Mar/2006: Almond Road had a 'low' collection this week. Farm 347 continues with the 'very high' collections, trapping 1,122 mosquitoes, with 458 Culex annulirostris.

7/Mar/2006: Almond Road had a 'low' collection this week. Farm 347 continues with the 'very high' collections, trapping 1,009 mosquitoes, with 404 Culex annulirostris.

21/Feb/2006: There was another isolate of Sindbis virus, this was from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347 on 14/Feb/2006

15/Feb/2006: Almond Road had a 'high' catch of 123, with 96 Culex annulirostris, while Farm 347 had a 'very high' collection of 3,721, with 2,771 Anopheles annulipes.

14/Feb/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 8/Jan, 15/Jan, 24/Jan or 29/Jan/2006.

8/Feb/2006: Almond Road had a 'high' catch of 400, with 386 Culex annulirostris, while Farm 347 had a 'very high' collection of 1,505, with 1,124 Culex annulirostris.

7/Feb/2006: There were four isolates from Culex annulirostris trapped 1/Feb/2006, three were Sindbis virus from Farm 347, the other was Kokobera virus (a flavivirus) from Almond Road. 

6/Feb/2006: There were three isolates of Sindbis virus from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347 on 24/Jan/2006.

1/Feb/2006: Almond Road had a 'high' catch of 423, with 378 Culex annulirostris, while Farm 347 had a 'very high' collection of 2,621, with 1,777 Culex annulirostris.

30/Jan/2006: There were another two isolates of Sindbis virus from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347 on 18/Jan/2006.

24/Jan/2006: Mosquito numbers were well down upon the previous week. Almond Road produced a 'high' catch of 237, with 150 Culex annulirostris, while Farm 347 had a 'very high' collection of 3,343, with 2,461 Culex annulirostris.

27/Jan/2006: There were another four isolates of Sindbis virus, all from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347, with two from the 11/Jan & 18/Jan/2006.

24/Jan/2006: There were two isolates of Sindbis virus, both from Culex annulirostris trapped at Farm 347 on 11/Jan/2006.

18/Jan/2006: Mosquito numbers are well up and above average this week. Almond Road trapped 'very high' numbers (1,021), with 839 Culex annulirostris. Farm 347 trappend an extraordinary 'extreme' collection of 12,577, with 6,192 Culex annulirostris and 6,171 Anopheles annulipes.

13/Jan/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 1/Jan/2006.

11/Jan/2005: Mosqutio numbers are on the rise. Farm 347 had the astonishing 'very high' collection of 5,309 mosquitoes, with 3,486 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 320 mosquitoes ('high' numbers), with 266 Culex annulirostris.

10/Jan/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 27/Dec.

4/Jan/2006: Farm 347 collected 'high' numbers (1,486), including 934 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road trapped 'medium' numbers (58), with 52 Culex annulirostris.

29/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 18/Dec.

22/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 12/Dec.

20/Dec/2005: Farm 347 again had 'very high' numbers (1,274), which included 827 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road trapped 'high' numbers (411), with 162 Anopheles annulipes.

14/Dec/2005: Farm 347 continues with the 'high' numbers with mosquitoes continuing to increase. A total of 2,249 mosquitoes were trapped including 1,618 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road produced a 'high' collection (146), with 122 Anopheles annulipes.

9/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 4/Dec.

8/Dec/2005: The first 'very high' collection of the season was made this week from Farm 347. A total of 1,294 mosquitoes were collected, which included 766 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road trapped 'high' numbers (398), with 205 Anopheles annulipes.

2/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 21/Nov or 27/Nov.

29/Nov/2005: Mosquito numbers from Farm 347 remain stable with a 'high' collection on 345, which included 221 Anopheles annulipes.   Numbers were 'low' from Almond Road.

23/Nov/2005: Farm 347 continued with teh 'high' mosquito collections with a total of 367, dominated by 177 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road had a trap failure.

22/Nov/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 30/Oct, 6/Nov or 13/Nov.

15/Nov/2005: Numbers were 'high' from both sites and well above average for so early in the season. Almond Road trapped 287 mosquitoes dominated by 182 Culex australicus. Farm 347 yielded 237 mosquitoes, with Culex australicus (222) again dominating the collection.

9/Nov/2005: Farm 347 yielded mosquito numbers that were well above average with a total of 373, dominated by 287 Culex australicus. Almond Road trapped 'low' numbers.

1/Nov/2005: Both sites trapped 'low' mosquito numbers.
