22/May/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 17/Apr or 24/Apr/2006.

28/Mar/2006: Mosquito numbers continued to decline. Hanwood had a 'medium' catch of 86, with 50 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie trapped 'low' numbers.

24/Mar/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 6/Mar/2006.

23/Mar/2005: There was one Sindbis virus isolate from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood on 15/Mar/2006. 

21/Mar/2006: Mosquito numbers were down this week but 'high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 285 mosquitoes, with 266 Culex annulirostris, while Willbriggie had a catch of 127, including 100 Culex annulirostris.

14/Mar/2006: Mosquito numbers were 'high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 410 mosquitoes with 375 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie collected 806, with 652 Culex annulirostris.

14/Mar/2006: There was an isolate of Sindbis virus from Culex annulirostris trapped at Willbriggie on 8/Mar/2006. 

10/Mar/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 27/Feb/2006.

7/Mar/2006: Hanwood had a 'high' collection of 620, with 587 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie trapped 'very high' numbers (1,079), with 757 Culex annulirostris.

28/Feb/2006: Hanwood had a 'very high' collection of 1,283, with 1,241 Culex annulirostris. Numbers were 'high' at Willbriggie, with a total of 245 mosquitoes trapped, including 187 Culex annulirostris.  

28/Feb/2006: There was another 4 Sindbis virus, from Culex annulirostris trapped at Willbriggie, 3 were from mosquitoes collected on 15/Feb and one from the 22/Feb. 

27/Feb/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 13/Feb or 20/Feb/2006.

22/Feb/2006: Mosquito numbers continue to fall, although numbers were still 'high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 526 mosquitoes, with 421 Culex annulirostris, while Willbriggie collected 369, with 423726 Culex annulirostris.  

15/Feb/2006: Hanwood had a 'high' collection of 930, with 868 Culex annulirostris. Numbers were also 'high' at Willbriggie, with a total of 825 mosquitoes trapped, including 512 Culex annulirostris.  

14/Feb/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 9/Jan, 16/Jan, 23/Jan, 30/Jan or 6/Feb/2006.

10/Feb/2006: There was another Sindbis virus, from Culex annulirostris trapped on 24/Jan/2006 from Willbriggie.

7/Feb/2006: Mosquito numbers have dropped to be 'high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 332 mosquitoes, with 326 Culex annulirostris, while Willbriggie collected 532, with 426 Culex annulirostris.  

7/Feb/2006: Another 6 SINV isolates were made, all from Culex annulirostris. Four were from Willbriggie from mosquitoes trapped on 24/Jan, while two were from Hanwood from mosquitoes trapped 31/Jan/2006.

6/Feb/2006: There were 17 isolates of Sindbis virus, from Culex annulirostris trapped on 24/Jan/2006, 15 were from Hanwood, while two were from Willbriggie.

31/Jan/2006: Mosquito numbers continued to decline. Hanwood trapped 'high' numbers (441) and included 396 Culex annulirostris, while Willbriggie trapped 'very high' collection of 1,034, with 928 Culex annulirostris.

31/Jan/2006: There were another three isolates of Sindbis virus, from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood, two were from collections made on the 17/Jan, with one from the 10/Jan/2006.

24/Jan/2006: Both sites trapped 'very high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood collected 3,014, with 2853 Culex annulirostris, while Willbriggie trapped 2,109, with 2,052 Culex annulirostris.

24/Jan/2006: There was one isolate of Sindbis virus, from Culex annulirostris trapped at Hanwood 10/Jan/2006.

17/Jan/2006: Mosquito numbers are well down the cooler weather. Hanwood trapped 'very high' numbers (1,613), with 1,439 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie had a 'high' collection of 471 mosquitoes, with 386 Culex annulirostris.

13/Jan/2006: There was another RRV isolate from Willbriggie from the mosquitoes trapped on 20/Dec2006.

13/Jan/2006: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 26/Dec or 2/Jan/2006.

10/Jan/2006: Mosquito numbers were well up this week and the first 'extreme' collection was made for several years. Hanwood trapped a staggering 11,775 mosquitoes, which included 10,814 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie trapped 'very high' numbers (3,025) with 2,656 Culex annulirostris.

4/Jan/2006: There were five isolates of Ross River virus from mosquitoes trapped at Willbriggie on the 20/Dec/2005. This included four from Culex annulirostris and one from Ochlerotatus theobaldi.

3/Jan/2006: 'Very high' mosquito numbers were trapped from both sites this week. Hanwood trapped a total of 2,748 mosquitoes, dominated by 2,034 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie also had 'very high' numbers (3,367) and the catch was heavily dominated by 3,230 Culex annulirostris.

29/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 19/Dec.

27/Dec/2005: Both sites trapped 'very high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood yielded 2,405 mosquitoes, with 1,638 Culex annulirostris, while Willbriggie collected 1,404 including 1,297 Culex annulirostris.

22/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 12/Dec.

20/Dec/2005: Both sites trapped 'very high' mosquito numbers this week. Hanwood yielded 1,189 mosquitoes, with 543 Culex annulirostris, while Willbriggie collected 1,570 including 1,123 Culex annulirostris.

13/Dec/2005: Both sites trapped 'high' numbers. Hanwood trapped 528 mosquitoes, including 382 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie trapped even more with 615, which included 408 Culex annulirostris.

9/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleed taken on 5/Dec.

6/Dec/2005: Mosquito numbers continue to climb and were 'high' from both sites. Hanwood trapped 660 mosquitoes, with 320 Culex australicus, while Willbriggie yielded 801 with 478 Culex annulirostris.

2/Dec/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 21/Nov or 28/Nov.

29/Nov/2005: The Culex annulirostris numbers are beginning to rise, with both sites continuing to collect 'high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood trapped 256, with 135 Culex australicus, while Willbriggie yielded 122, with 63 Culex annulirostris.

22/Nov/2005: Mosquito collections were 'high' from both sites. Hanwood collected 407 mosquitoes, with 354 Culex australicus. Willbriggie yielded 591, with 407 Culex australicus.

22/Nov/2005: There were no seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the bleeds taken on 25/Oct, 31/Oct, 7/Nov or 14/Nov.

15/Nov/2005: Both sites trapped 'high' numbers. The Hanwood site produced a collection of 157 mosquitoes, dominated by 138 Culex australicus. This species was also  the main mosquito at Willbriggie with 399 out of a total of 427 mosquitoes.

8/Nov/2005: Hanwood had a 'medium' collection of 90 mosquitoes, with 75 Culex australicus. Willbriggie's trap failed.

1/Nov/2005: Both sites trapped 'high' mosquito numbers. Hanwood produced a total of 239, with 229 Culex australicus. Willbriggie yielded 185, with 175 Culex australicus.

26/Nov/2005: Willbriggie had a 'high' collection of 100 mosquitoes, dominated by 67 Culex australicus. Hanwood trapped 'low' numbers.
