10/Mar/2006: Mosquito numbers are well up following breeding of Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay yielded a 'high' catch of 213 mosquitoes, with 43 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Killcare trapped 'very high' numbers (1,460), with 1,376 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
21/Feb/2006: Mosquito numbers were down this week and 'low' from Empire Bay. Killcare trapped 'high' numbers (176), with 167 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
15/Feb/2006: Mosquito numbers are well up following the spring tides, with both sites catching 'high' numbers. Empire Bay yielded a collection of 413 mosquitoes, dominated by 274 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Killcare collected 949 mosquitoes, with 901 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
7/Feb/2006: Empire Bay had a 'medium' catch of 97, with 33 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Killcare had a 'high' collection of 262, strongly dominated by 194 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
31/Jan/2006: Both sites continue to trap 'high' numbers. Empire Bay collected 378 mosquitoes, with 73 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Killcare produced a catch of 373, dominated by 346 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
24/Jan/2006: Both sites trapped 'high' numbers. Empire Bay collected 224 mosquitoes, with 76 Culex sitiens. Killcare produced a catch of 207, dominated by 162 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
17/Jan/2006: Mosquito collections were down with the wet weather, in fact Empire Bay trapped 'low' numbers. Collections remain 'high' at Killcare, with 141 mosquitoes trapped, dominated by 104 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
10/Jan/2006: Mosquito numbers are well up this week. Empire Bay trapped 'medium' numbers (74), with 50 Ochlerotatus vigilax, while Killcare had a 'high' collection of 372, strongly dominated by 299 Ochlerotatus vigilax.
6/Jan/2006: Killcared trapped 'medium' numbers with a total of 87 mosquitoes, dominated by 55 Ochlerotatus vigilax. 'Low' mosquito numbers were trapped at Empire Bay.
