Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50 mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

26/May/2005: Both sites trapped 'low' numbers.

20/May/2005: Both sites trapped 'low' numbers.

13/May/2005: Empire Bay had a 'high' collection of 119 mosquitoes, domianted by 107 Ochlerotatus notoscriptus.  Killcare Heights trapped 'low' numbers.

4/May/2005: Both sites trapped 'low' numbers.

27/Apr/2005: Both sites trapped 'low' numbers.

20/Apr/2005: Killcare Heights again yielded 'high' numbers, trapping 192 mosquitoes including 134 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay had a 'medium' collection (99), with 48 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

15/Apr/2005: Killcare Heights continue with the 'high' numbers, trapping 130 mosquitoes including 81 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay had a 'medium' collection (62), with 31 Ochlerotatus notoscriptus

8/Apr/2005: Mosquito numbers are well up this week, with a 'high' collection of 255 from Killcare Heights, dominated by 189 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

30/Mar/2005: Both sites trapped 'low' numbers.

24/Mar/2005: Empire Bay continues with the 'high' numbers (153), with 108 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

17/Mar/2005: Empire Bay also had 'high' numbers (137), with 61 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

15/Mar/2005: Killcare produced another 'high' collection of 236 mosquitoes, and as usual, was dominated by 117 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

8/Mar/2005: Mossies were back up again. with yet another 'high' collection from Killcare, which trapped 625, including Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay had a 'medium' collection of 66, with 44 Ochlerotatus vigilax.  

2/Mar/2005: Mosquito collections were down this week and 'meium' from both sites. Empire Bay trapped 51 mosquitoes, with 29 Ochlerotatus alternans. Killcare Heights yielded 82, including 65 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

25/Feb/2005: Mosquito numbers reached an all time record, with a 'very high' collection of 1,067 mosquitoes at Killcare Heights, dominated by 956 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay had a 'medium' collection of 55, with 32 Ochlerotatus notoscriptus

15/Feb/2005: Killcare Heights yielded 'high' mosquito numbers with a total of 282, including 240 Ochlerotatus vigilax . Empire Bay trapped 'low' numbers.

10/Feb/2005: Numbers of Ochlerotatus vigilax were up this week. Empire Bay trapped 'high' numbers (216), with 181 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Mosquito numbers were 'low' from Killcare.

25/Jan/2005: Both Empire Bay & Killcare Heights trapped medium numbers, with 90 and 52 mosquitoes respectively. Both sites were dominated by Ochlerotatus vigilax (51 & 41).

19/Jan/2005: Killcare Heights continues to trap 'high' numbers (148), dominated by 121 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Mosquito numbers were 'low' from Empire Bay.

13/Jan/2005: Killcare Heights trapped 'high' numbers (304), dominated by 259 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Mosquito numbers were 'low' from Empire Bay.

23/Dec/2004: Killcare Heights trapped 'high' numbers (138), dominated by 104 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Mosquito numbers were 'low' from Empire Bay.

15/Dec/2004: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from both sites.

9/Dec/2004: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from Killcare Heights.

30/Nov/2004: Mosquito numbers were up this week and dominated by the saltmarsh mosquito, Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay yielded 'high' numbers (102), with 82 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Killcare Heights had a 'medium' collection of 90 mosquitoes, including 47 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

24/Nov/2004: Numbers were 'low' this week from both sites.

17/Nov/2004: Mosquito collections were 'high' from Killcare Heights, with a total of 111 mosquitoes, including 68 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay yielded a 'medium' collectiom of 95 mosquitoes, with 38 Ochlerotatus vigilax.

11/Nov/2004: Mosquito collections were 'high' from Killcare Heights, with a total of 132 mosquitoes, including 88 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay yielded 'low' numbers.

2/Nov/2004: A 'medium'  (68) mosquito collection was made from Killcare Heights, which included 27 Ochlerotatus vigilax. Empire Bay yielded 'low' numbers.
