2/Mar/2004: Mosquito numbers again continue to be 'high' from both sites, but still well below average. Hanwood trapped 547 mosquitoes, with 236 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie yielded 308, with 265 Culex annulirostris.

24/Feb/2004: Mosquito numbers continue to be 'high' from both sites, but still well below average. Hanwood trapped 568 mosquitoes, with 149 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie yielded 505, with 355 Culex annulirostris.

19/Feb/2004: There were no new seroconversions to either MVEV or KUNV from the 2/Feb or 9/Feb bleeds.

18/Feb/2004: Mosquito numbers were 'high' from both sites, but still well below average. Hanwood trapped 360 mosquitoes, with 292 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie yielded 692, with 636 Culex annulirostris.

10/Feb/2004: Mosquito numbers are up but still well below the average. Hanwood had 'medium' numbers (73), with 62 Culex annulirostris. Willbriggie had a 'high' collection of 636 mosquitoes, dominated by 447 Culex annulirostris.

20/Jan/2004: Collections were 'high' from both sites, but less than one tenth of the average. Hanwood collected 201 mosquitoes, with 112 Anopheles annulipes. Willbriggie yielded 167, including 105 Culex annulirostris.

13/Jan/2004: Numbers were well below average and only 'medium' from both sites. Hanwoord trapped 80 mosquitoes, with 46 Anopheles annulipes. Willbriggie yielded 67, including 49 Culex annulirostris.

13/Jan/2004: All chickens tested negative for MVEV & KUNV from the 5/Jan bleed.

7/Jan/2004: Mosquito numbers were 'high' from both sites, but only around one tenth of the long term average. Hanwood trapped 250 mosquitoes, dominated by 146 Anopheles annulipes. Willbriggie yielded 124, with 103 Culex annulirostris.

22/Dec/2003: Numbers are still well below average. Hanwood had a 'high' collection of 286, with 270 Culex annulirostris. While Willbriggie yielded 'medium' numbers (88), dominated by 79 Culex annulirostris.

16/Dec/2003: Mosquito numbers continue to be well below average. Hanwood yielded 'low' numbers, while Willbriggie trapped a 'high' collection of 440 mosquitoes, including 406 Culex annulirostris.

15/Dec/2003: All chickens tested negative for MVEV & KUNV from the 10/Nov, 17/Nov, 24/Nov, 1/Dec & 8/Dec bleeds.

9/Dec/2003: Mosquito numbers continue to be well below average. Hanwood yielded 'low' numbers, while Willbriggie trapped a 'high' collection of 455 mosquitoes, including 284 Culex annulirostris.

2/Dec/2003: Hanwood trapped 'low' numbers, while Willbriggie yielded a 'high' collection of 112 mosquitoes, with almost equal numbers of Culex annulirostris and Culex australicus.
