Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50 mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

23/4/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 2/4, 6/4 & 14/4 bleeds.

15/4/2003: Numbers have decreased, with a 'low' collection from Almond Road. Farm 347 still have 'high' numbers (202), dominated by 148 Anopheles annulipes.

8/4/2003: Numbers are 'high' from both sites, but still dropping. Farm 347 trapped 244 mosquitoes, with 119 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 183, with 109 Culex annulirostris

3/4/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 23/3 bleed.

2/4/2003: Mosquito collections remain 'high' from both sites. Farm 347 trapped 571 mosquitoes, with 493 Culex annulirostris.  Almond Road yielded 558, including 413 Culex annulirostris

28/3/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 9/3 & 17/3 bleeds.

25/3/2003: Farm 347 continues to have 'very high' numbers (3571), being dominated by Culex annulirostris (3429). Almond Road again had 'high' numbers (868), with 706 Culex annulirostris

18/3/2003: Numbers continue to climb, with another 'very high' collection of 3344 from Farm 347, including 2,46 Culex annulirostris and 759 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road trapped 'high' numbes (878), with 735 Culex annulirostris.

11/3/2003: The largest collection of the season was made this week , with a total of 3064 mosquitoes trapped at Farm 347 ('very high' numbers). This was dominated by 1373 Culex annulirostris and 1023 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Rd trapped 'low' numbers.

11/3/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 17/2, 24/2 and 2/3 bleeds.

5/3/2003: Mosquito numbers were 'very high' (1,042) from Farm 347, dominated by Culex annulirostris (594) and 437 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Rd had a 'high' collection of 137, including 97 Culex annulirostris.

4/3/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 12/2 bleed.

25/2/2003: 'High' numbers were  trapped from both sites. Farm 347 trapped 924 mosquitoes, including 761 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road collected 620 mosquitoes, with 291 Culex annulirostris.

19/2/2003: Farm 347 again trapped 'very high' numbers (1316), including 505 Culex annulirostris and 803 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Rd had a 'high' collection of 811, including 303 Culex annulirostris and 485 Anopheles annulipes.

11/2/2003: Mosquito numbers were well up this week, with one 'very high' collection from Leeton. Farm 347 trapped 1660 mosquitoes, including 740 Culex annulirostris and 879 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Rd had a 'high' collection of 441, including 202 Culex annulirostris.

12/2/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 27/1 and 3/2 bleeds.

4/2/2003: 'High' numbers were again trapped from both sites. Farm 347 trapped 478 mosquitoes, including 363 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road collected 210 mosquitoes, with 156 Culex annulirostris.

29/1/2003: 'High' numbers were trapped from both sites. Farm 347 trapped 486 mosquitoes, including 355 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road collected 717 mosquitoes, with 590 Culex annulirostris.

24/1/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 20/1 bleed.

21/1/2003: Mosquito numbers have increased, with the first 'very high' collection of 1158 mosquitoes from Farm 347. This included 476 Culex annulirostris and 663 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Rd had a 'high' collection of 155, including 108 Culex annulirostris.

17/1/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 13/1 bleed.

14/1/2003: Numbers have increased this week and are only now slightly below average, with 'high' numbers from both sites. Farm 347 trapped 310 mosquitoes, with 195 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road yielded 272, with 191 Culex annulirostris.

10/1/2003: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 17/12, 30/12 and 6/1/2003 bleeds.

6/1/2002: Numbers continue to be below average, although Almond Rd yielded a 'high' collection of 247, with 209 Culex annulirostris. Farm 347 had a 'nil' catch.

18/12/2002: Mosquito numbers are up this week, with a 'high' collection of 215 from Farm 347, including 116 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 'medium' (68) numbers, with 60 Culex annulirostris.

17/12/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 2/12 and 8/12 bleeds.

11/12/2002: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from both sites.

4/12/2002: Mosquito numbers are well below normal, with a 'low' collection from Almond Road. The new site of Farm 347, had 'medium' numbers (71), with 47 Culex annulirostris.
