3/4/2002: Collections were 'low' from all sites.
27/3/2002: Collections were up this week, with 'medium' to 'high' numbers from all sites, mostly dominated by the noted freswater breeding vector, Culex annulirostris. George Kendall Reserve trapped 109 mosquitoes, with 57 Culex annulirostris. Carson Street collected 78, with 66 Culex annulirostris. Pennant Parade yielded 122, with 78 Culex annulirostris. Eccles Park trapped 62, with 48 Culex annulirostris. Eric Primose Reserve collected 63, with 31 Culex annulirostris.
20/3/2002: All sites had 'low' numbers except for a 'medium' catch of 54 at George Kendall Reserve. This included 21 Culex annulirostris. Pennant Parade and Eric Primrose Reserve both had trap failures.
13/3/2002: A big jump in mosquito numbers occurred this week and were the highest for the season. George Kendall Reserve had 'high' numbers (321), with 114 Aedes vigilax. Carson Street also had a 'high' collection (113), with 72 Culex annulirostris. Pennant Parade had 'high' numbers (118), including 64 Aedes notoscriptus. Eccles Park trapped 'low' numbers. Eric Primrose Reserve yielded 'medium' numbers (71), with 38 Culex quinquefasciatus.
6/3/2002: Collections were down this week with the cool night and were 'low' from all sites.
27/2/2002: The biggest numbers this season were trapped this week, with a notable 'high' collection from George Kendall Reserve. From this site, 258 mosquitoes were trapped which included 132 Aedes vigilax. Eric Primrose Reserve collected 'medium' numbers (88), with 54 Culex quinquefasciatus.
20/2/2002: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from all but George Kendall Reserve, which had a 'high' collection of 117, with 51 Aedes vigilax.
12/2/2002: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from all but George Kendall Reserve, which had a 'medium' collection of 95, with 58 Aedes notoscriptus.
6/2/2002: All sites had 'low' mosquito numbers with the wet weather.
30/1/2002: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from all but George Kendall Reserve, which had a 'high' collection of 112, with 50 Aedes vigilax.
23/1/2002: Collections were 'low' from all sites.
16/1/2002: Numbers were 'high' from George Kendall Reserve with 120 mosquitoes, dominated by Aedes vigilax. All other sites had 'low' numbers.
9/1/2002: George Kendall Reserve yielded a 'medium' catch (77), with 30 Aedes vigilax. All other sites had 'low' numbers.
