Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50 mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

7/5/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 16/4, 23/4 and 1/5 bleeds.

21/4/2002: Mosquito numbers were 'low'.

19/4/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 26/3, 3/4 and 8/4 bleeds.

9/4/2002: Numbers were down this week and 'medium' (73), with 39 Aedes theobaldi.

4/5/2002: A big jump in numbers occurred this week, with collections close to 3x the average. The 'high' collection of 293, was dominated by the floodwater mosquito Aedes theobaldi (236).

28/3/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 11/3 & 19/3 bleeds.

20/3/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 14/3 bleed. Mosquito numbers were 'low' and around average.

11/3/2002: Collections continue to be well above average and 'high'. A total of 430 mosquitoes were trapped, including 394 Culex annulirostris.

6/3/2002: Collections were again up and well above average, with a 'high' catch of 583 mosquitoes. The dominated species trapped was Culex annulirostris (560).

6/3/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 19/2 and 26/2 bleeds.

20/2/2002: The highest numbers this season were trapped this week and were well above average. A total of 367 mosquitoes ('high' humbers) were trapped, with 355 Culex annulirostris.

20/2/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 13/2 bleed.

13/2/2002: 'Medium' mosquito numbers (75) were trapped this week, although were below average in number. The collection consisted mostly of Culex annulirostris (67).

11/2/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 5/2 bleed.

7/8/2002: Numbers were 'low' and well below average.

31/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 28/1 bleed.

29/1/2002: Mosquito collections continue to be below average, with a 'medium' catch of 55 mosquitoes including 52 Culex annulirostris.

25/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 22/1 bleed.

23/1/2002: Numbers were 'medium' (57), with 35 Culex annulirostris, but well below average.

21/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 15/1 bleed.

16/1/2002: Numbers continue to be 'low' and well below average.

7/1/2002: Numbers are 'low' and well below average.

1/11/2001: All chickens from the initial bleed were seronegative for flaviviruses.
