7/5/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 21/4 and 29/4 bleeds.

30/4/2002: Mosquito collections were 'low' from both sites.

22/4/2002: Mosquito collections were 'low' from both sites.

19/4/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 2/4, 7/4 and 15/4 bleeds.

15/4/2002: Mosquito collections were 'low' this week.

4/4/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 24/3 bleed.

2/4/2002: The Racecourse had a 'high' collection (102), with 65 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary trapped 'low' numbers.

28/3/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 12/3 & 17/3 bleeds.

25/3/2002: Numbers continue to decline and were 'medium' from both sites. The Racecourse trapped 87 mosquitoes, including 52 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary collected 53 mosquitoes, with 37 Culex annulirostris.

20/3/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 15/3 bleeds.

18/3/2002: Numbers were above average this week. The Racecourse trapped 'medium' numbers (90), with 64 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary had a 'high' collection (104), with 75 Culex annulirostris.

13/3/2002: Mosquito numbers were well down with the cooler conditions and 'low' from both sites.

6/3/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 17/2 and 24/2 bleeds.

4/3/2002: Collections were much lower this week and below average. The Racecourse had a 'high' colection of 125, with 47 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary trapped 'low' numbers.

26/2/2002: The biggest collection this season was trapped this week, with 'high' numbers from both sites being above average. The Racecourse yielded 284 mosquitoes, with 238 Culex annulirostris, while the Island Sanctuary collected 355, with 308 Culex annulirostris.

19/2/2002: Mosquito collections were 'medium' from both sites, although well below the long term average. The Racecourse trapped 77 mosquitoes, with 55 Culex annulirostris, while the Island Sanctuary collected 69, with 53 Culex annulirostris.

13/2/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 9/2 bleed.

11/2/2002: Mosquito numbers were 'low'.

6/2/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 3/2 bleed.

5/2/2002: Numbers continue to climb, although rainfall kept the catches down. The racecourse trapped 'low' numbers. Island Sanctuary collected 'high' numbers (272), with majority (261) being Culex annulirostris.

31/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 27/1 bleed.

29/1/2002: Below average mosquito numbers continue, although the collections were the highest this season. The Racecourse had 'high' (184) numbers, with 156 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary yielded 'medium' numbers (81), with 75 Culex annulirostris.

25/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 20/1 bleed.

15/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 13/1 bleed.

14/1/2002: Mosquito numbers continue to be 'low' with the cool weather in the south of the state.

4/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 8/12 and 16/12 bleed.

3/1/2002: Mosquito numbers continue to be 'low'.

18/12/2001: Mosquito numbers continue to be 'low'.
