21/3/2001: Overall numbers are well up this week. Wharf Road again had a 'high' collection (268), with 201  Culex sitiens. The Golf Course also had 'high' numbers (181), with 123 Aedes notoscriptus. 'Medium' numbers (69) were trapped from Lambert Park, with 62 Aedes notoscriptus. Darvall Park and Miriam Park yielded 'low' collections. Maze Park had a 'medium' collection (98), with 90   Aedes notoscriptus.

13/3/2001: Wharf Road continues to collect 'high' numbers (156), with 102 Culex sitiens. Numbers were 'low' from the other trapping locations.

7/3/2001: Numbers continue to be up at several sites. Wharf Road trapped 'high' numbers (105), with 91 Culex sitiens. The Golf Course also had a 'high' collection (144), with 75 Aedes notoscriptus. Lambert Park trapped 79 mosquitoes ('medium' numbers), with 70 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park had a 'medium' collection (84), with 75 Aedes notoscriptus. Darval Park and Miriam Park both trapped 'low' numbers.

28/2/2001: Some big collections continue with 'high' collections at three of the sites. Wharf Road trapped 262 mosquitoes ('high'), with 145 Culex sitiens. Golf Course had a 'high' collection (152), with 53 Culex annulirostris. Lambert Park numbers were 'medium' (63), with 40 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park trapped another 'high' collection (290), with 235 Aedes notoscriptus. Miriam continued with 'medium' numbers (54), with 23 Aedes notoscriptus. Darvall trapped 'low' numbers.

21/2/2001: Numbers continue to rise with 'high' collections at all but Darvall Park and Miriam. Wharf Road trapped 675 mosquitoes, with 542 Culex sitiens. Golf Course collected 126, with 33 Aedes vigilax and 45 Aedes notoscriptus. Lambert Park yielded 179 mosquitoes, wtih 125 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park trapped 116, with 88 Aedes notoscriptus. Miriam had a 'medium' collection of 58, with 34 Aedes vigilax. Darvall trapped 'low' numbers.

14/2/2001: The biggest numbers this season were trapped this week, with a 'high' collection of 395 mosquitoes from Wharf Road and 255 were Aedes vigilax. Golf Course also had 'high' numbers (127), with 60 Aedes vigilax. Numbers were 'high' (119) at Lambert Park, with 68 Aedes notoscriptus. Both Maze Park and Miriam had 'medium' numbers with a total of 81 and 71 respectively. Aedes notoscriptus (62 and 35) was the dominant species from both sites. Numbers were 'low' from Darvall Park.

7/2/2001: All sites trapped 'low' numbers except for Wharf Road, which had a 'medium' collection of 70 mosquitoes, with 34 Aedes vigilax.

30/1/2001: Overall numbers are up this week due to higher catches of Aedes vigilax. Wharf Road trapped 'high' numbers (131), with 84 Aedes vigilax. The Golf Course had a 'medium' collection (55), with 27 Aedes vigilax. Lambert Park trapped 'medium' numbers (51), with 37 Aedes notoscriptus. Darvall Park, Maze Park and Mirram had 'low' numbers.

23/1/2001: 'Low' numbers were trapped from all sites.

16/1/2001: All site collected 'low' numbers except for Maze Park which had a 'medium' collection (64), with 57 Aedes notoscriptus.

10/1/2001: 'Low' numbers were collected from Wharf Road and Darvall Park. The Gold Course had 'medium' numbers (72), with Aedes notoscriptus predominating. Lambert Park trapped 62 mosquitoes (a 'medium' collection) and Aedes notoscriptus (42) was the most common species. Maze Park collected the highest mosquito numbers for the night with a 'high' collection of 120 and of these, 92 were Aedes notoscriptus.

3/1/2001: All traps collected 'low' numbers with the cold night.

20/12/2000: Wharf Road, Lambert Park, Darvall Park and Miriam Park all trapped 'low' numbers. The Golf course trapped 'medium' (51) numbers, with 34 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park collectioned 'high' (143) mosquito numbers, with 139 Aedes notoscriptus.

12/12/2000: Wharf Road, Lambert Park, Darvall Park and Miriam Park all trapped 'low' numbers. The Golf course had a 'high' (154) collection, with 106 Aedes notoscriptus. Maze Park trapped 'high' (103) mosquito numbers, with 91 Aedes notoscriptus.
