17/5/2001: All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

2/5/2001: All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

25/4/2001: All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

18/4/2001: Numbers continue to be 'low' from both sites. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

11/4/2001: Numbers were 'low' from both sites. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

9/4/2001: One Kokobera  isolate was made from Culex annulirostris, collected 20/3/2001 from Almond Rd.

28/3/2001: Numbers were 'low' this week. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

20/3/2001: Numbers are well above average this week. Mountford Park trapped 'high' (116) mosquito numbers, with 68 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road had a 'very high' collection (1171), with 776 Culex annulirostris. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

14/3/2001: Only 'low' numbers were collected from Mountford Park with the very cold night. Almond Rd had a trap failure. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

13/3/2001: One Sindbis isolate was made from Culex annulirostris, collected 28/2/2001 from Almond Rd. There were five Kunjin seroconversions in the sentinel chicken flocks.

6/3/2001: Numbers are well down and 'low' from Mountford Park, while Almond Rd had a 'high' collection (331), with 291 Culex annulirostris. There were four Kunjin seroconversions in the sentinel chicken flock.

27/2/2001: Numbers were well above average, with 'very high' collections from both sites. Mountford Drive trapped 1092 mosquitoes, with 943 Culex annulirostris. Almond Rd trapped 'very high' numbers (5308), with 3265 Culex annulirostris and 1953 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

23/2/2001: There were 4 Ross River (RR) isolates and 2 Kunjin isolates from mosquitoes collected at Mountford Rd on 12/2/2001. Three RR were from Culex annulirostris, along with the undetermined flavivirus and one RR from Anopheles annulipes. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

20/2/2001: 'Very high' numbers, which is well above average, continue from both sites. Mountford Park trapped 2204 mosquitoes, with 1261 Culex annulirostris and 883 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Rd collected 2874, with 1622 Culex annulirostris and 1174 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.

14/2/2001: The biggest numbers from any site to date was collected this week from Leeton, with an 'EXTREME" collection of 10,361 mosquitoes from Mountford Park, with 3,863 Culex annulirostris and 6,262 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road had a 'high' collection (158), with 147 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

13/2/2001: One Sindbis isolate was made from Culex annulirostris, collected 30/1/2001 from Almond Rd.

8/2/2001: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

30/1/2001: Almond Road had a much lower collection this week (85 mosquitoes = 'medium' numbers) and was well below average, with 61 Culex annulirostris. Mountford Park had a trap failure. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

22/1/2001: Numbers have overall increased, particularly from Almond Rd, which had a 'very high' collection of 1758 mosquitoes, with 1404 Culex annulirostris. Mountford Park had 'medium' numbers (57), with 55 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

15/1/2001: Numbers are down upon the big collections of the previous weeks but are still well above average. Mountford Park trapped 'very high' numbers (1001), with 658 Culex annulirostris and 333 Anopheles annulipes. Almond Road had a 'high' collection (508), with 215 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses. 

8/1/2001: Numbers are well down from Almond Road with 'medium' numbers (70) and most (65) were Culex annulirostris. The Mounford Park trap failed. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

2/1/2001: Near 'Extreme' numbers collected this week from Almond Road, with a total of 8910 mosquitoes and of these, 6853 were Culex annulirostris and 1833 were  trapped 532 ('high' numbers) mosquitoes, with 437 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses. 

18/12/2000: Collections are considerably higher this week, with 'very high' numbers from both sites, being up to 10x higher than normal. Mountford Park trapped 1819 mosquitoes, with 1468 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road collected 3973mosquitoes, wih 3411 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

12/12/2000: Numbers are down this week, but still 'high' from both sites. Mountford Park had 120 mosquitoes, with 101 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 168, with 99 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

4/12/2000: Mossies are on the rise! Mountford Park trapped 780 mosquitoes, around 5x average and Culex annulirostris (571) was the most common species. Almond Rd had 'Medium' (78) numbers, with 58 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

27/11/2000: Numbers were 'low' to 'medium' and well below average. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

21/11/2000: Mosquito numbers were 'low' from Almond Rd, while the Mountford Park site had a trap failure. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

13/11/2000: Mosquito numbers were 'low' to 'medium' and near average. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

6/11/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

29/10/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

24/10/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

17/10/2000: All chickens tested negative for flavivirus from the initial bleed at Griffith.
