Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50 mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

22/3/2001: Bangalla Street again had 'medium' numbers (59), with 26 Aedes vigilax, while the other sites had 'low' collections.

15/3/2001: Except for Bangalla Street which had a 'medium' collection of 70 mosquitoes (with 23 Aedes notoscriptus), all other sites trapped 'low' numbers.

8/3/2001: Numbers were 'low' from all sites.

1/3/2001: Moderate numbers continue with 'high' collections from both Powells Ck and Concord Hospital. Powells Ck collected 109 mosquitoes, with 76 Aedes vigilax. Concord Hospital trapped 104 mosquitoes, with 53 Culex annulirostris. Numbers were 'low' from Bangalla Street.

21/2/2001: Numbers have dropped from the previous weeks 'high' at Powells Ck to be 'medium' (98) and Aedes vigilax (78) is still predominating. 'Low' numbers were trapped at the other sites.

13/2/2001: Numbers were 'low' from both the Concord Hospital site and Bangalla Street, however overall numbers are by far the highest this season , with close to 'very high' numbers (988) recorded from Powells Creek reserve, and most of these (961) were Aedes vigilax.

8/2/2001: Some big collections were recorded due mainly to the large numbers of Aedes vigilax. Bangalla St had a 'medium' collection (61), with 37 Aedes vigilax. Powells Ck trapped 'high' numbers (147), with 135 Aedes vigilax. Concord Hospital collected 'low' numbers.

31/1/2001: Numbers were down with the rainy night and 'low' from Bangalla Street and the Hospital. Powells Creek had a 'medium' collection (90), with 76 Aedes vigilax.

25/1/2001: There was a notable increase in mosquito numbers this week from all sites, due to higher densities of Aedes vigilax. Bangalla Street trapped 'high' numbers (244), with 219 Aedes vigilax. Powells Creek also had a 'high' collection (260), with 245 Aedes vigilax. Like the other sites, Concord Hospital also yielded 'high' numbers (173), with 168 Aedes vigilax.

16/1/2001: Numbers were 'low' from Bangalla Street and Concord Hospital, while Powell's Creek trapped 'medium' numbers (58), with 42 Aedes vigilax.

10/1/2001: 'Low' numbers were trapped from both Bangalla Street and Concord Hospital. Powell's Creek had 'high' numbers (173), with 155 Aedes vigilax.

3/1/2001: Bangalla Rd collected 'medium' (52) numbers, with 26 Aedes vigilax. Powells Ck also had a 'medium' collection (61), with Aedes vigilax (33) dominating. Numbers were 'low' from the hospital.

20/12/2000: Bangalla Rd collected 'medium' (62) numbers, with 29 Culex quinquefasciatus. Powells Ck had a 'high' (103) collection, with 75 Aedes notoscriptus.  The Hospital site trapped 'low' numbers.

14/12/2000: Both Bangalla and Powells Ck had 'low' numbers. The Hospital site trapped 'medium' (76) numbers, with 28 Aedes notoscriptus.
