Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50 mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

28/3/2000: Numbers were low this week from Almond Road.

20/3/2000: 'Low' numbers were collected this week from Mountford Park. Almond Road trapped 'very high' numbers (1654), with 1306 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

13/3/2000: Mountford Park had a 'medium' collection (58), with 36 Culex quinquefasciatus. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

7/3/2000: 'Low' numbers were collected this week from Mountford Park. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

29/2/2000: Another three Ross River viruses were isolated from Almond Rd from mosquitoes collected on the 7/2/2000. Two isolates were from Anopheles annulipes and one was from Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

27/2/2000: Mosquito numbers are again well down o the previous 'very high' collections. Mountford Park trapped 'medium' numbers (71), with 48 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road had a 'low' collection.

25/2/2000: One Ross River was isolated from Culex annulirostris collected at Almond Rd on 7/2/2000.

21/2/2000: Numbers are well down and below average this week, with 'medium' collections from both sites. Mountford Park trapped 64 mosquitoes, with 35 Culex annulirostris. Almond Rd collected 68 mosquitoes, with 39 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

15/2/2000: Mosquito numbers are again elevated and well above average. Mountford Park trapped 'high' numbers (316), with 231 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

7/2/2000: The highest numbers of mosquitoes so far this season were trapped this week, with a 'very high' collection (7131) from Almond Rd. Of these 5247 were Culex annulirostris and there were 1749 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

1/2/2000: Numbers contiune to be relatively high. Mountford Park had 'high' numbers (115), with 95 Culex annulirostris. Almond Rd continues with 'very high' numbers (2512), with 1515 Culex annulirostris and 957 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

25/1/2000: Numbers are still quite high but lower than the previous week. Mountford Park had a 'high' collection (116), with 87 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road trapped 'very high' numbers (3158), with 1658 Culex annulirostris and 1491 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

17/1/2000: Mosquito numbers much higher than normal for this week. Mountford Park had a 'high' collection (305), with 242 Culex annulirostris. Almond Road had a 'very high' collection (8569), with 5319 Culex annulirostris and 3210 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

12/1/2000: Numbers were again well down this week. Mountford Park had a 'medium' collection (62), with 56 Culex annulirostris. The trap failed at Almond Rd. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

4/1/2000: Numbers were 'low' from Mountford Park. Almond Rd had a 'high' collection (237), with 127 Culex annulirostris and 101 Anopheles annulipes. These numbers are well below average. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

21/12/99: Mosquito numbers are on the increase this week, with a 'high' collection (225) from Mountford Park. Culex annulirostris (168) dominated the collection. Almond Rd had a 'very high' collection (2317), with 1790 Culex annulirostris and 490 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

14/12/99: Mountford Park trapped 'low' mosquito numbers. Almond Rd had 'high' numbers (1820), with 1350 Culex annulirostris and 1000 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

8/12/99: Mountford Pk trapped 'high' numbers (266), with 146 Culex annulirostris. Very high' collections (1548) were made form Almond Rd, with 1016 Culex annulirostris and 437 Anopheles annulipes. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

1/12/99: 'Very high' numbers (1577) were collected from Almond Rd, with 1077 Culex annulirostris. Mountford Park trapped 'medium' numbers (82), with 47 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

25/11/99: 'High' numbers (103) were trapped from Mountford Park, with 70 Culex annulirostris. Almond Rd also had a 'high' collection (900), with 647 Culex annulirostris. Note that this is well above the average of 84 mosquitoes for this week. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

18/11/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses. 'Low' mosquito numbers were trapped from both sites.

12/11/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

26/10/1999: All chickens tested negative for flavivirus from the initial bleed at Griffith.
