101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 = "Extreme".

24/4/2000: Numbers were 'low' from the Island Sanctuary. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

17/4/2000: 'Low' mosquito numbers were collected from both sites.

9/4/2000: 'Low' mosquito numbers were collected from both sites. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

2/4/2000: 'Low' mosquito numbers were collected from all sites. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

26/3/2000: Numbers continue to be below average. The Racecourse had 'medium' numbers (72), with 50 Culex annulirostris. 'Low' numbers were trapped at the Island Sanctuary. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

20/3/2000: Numbers have declined this week and were 'low' from both sites. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

15/3/2000: A noticable increase in numbers from the Racecourse site, being around twice the average. The Racecourse had a 'high' collection (383), with 350 Culex annulirostris. 'Low' numbers were trapped at the Island Sanctuary. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

5/3/2000: Numbers continue to be well below average, with a 'low' collection from Island Sanctuary. The Racecourse had 'medium' numbers (58), with 43 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

27/2/2000: Both sites had 'low' numbers, which continue to be well below average. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

20/2/2000: Numbers continue to be well below average. The Racecourse trapped 'medium' numbers (70), with 62 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary collected 'low' numbers (45). All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

13/2/2000: Mosquito numbers are much higher for this week, but still well below the long-term average. The Racecourse had 'high' numbers (114), with 106 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary had similar numbers with a total of 101 mosquitoes and 83 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

6/2/2000: 'Low' numbers continue from both sites. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

2/2/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

23/1/2000: Both sites had 'low' numbers. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

18/1/2000: Numbers are down this week and around one third the average. The Racecourse had a 'high' collection (261), with 223 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary had similar numbers with a total of 250 mosquitoes and 235 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

12/1/2000: Numbers are again up this week and around 50% above average. A 'high' collection (856) was made from the Racecourse, with 814 Culex annulirostris. Island Sanctuary trapped 'very high' numbers (2047), with 1995 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

4/1/2000: A notable increase in mosquito numbers this week, with a 'high' collection (652) from the Racecourse. The majority (636), were Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary had a 'very high' collection (1936), with 1883 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

21/12/99: Mosquitoes are on the increase with 'high' numbers from both sites this week, although this is still well below the long-term average. The Racecourse had a total of 382 mosquitoes, with 361 Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary collected 238 mosquitoes, with 230 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

12/12/99: Numbers are well below average this week, with 'low' collections from the Island Sanctuary. The Racecourse had 'medium' numbers (54), with 50 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

7/12/99: 'Low' numbers were trapped from both sites. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

30/11/99: The Racecourse had 'medium' numbers (94), with 63 Culex annulirostris. 'Low' mosquito numbers were trapped from Island Sanctuary. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

24/11/99: 'Medium' numbers (95) were trapped from Racecourse, with 62 Culex australicus. 'Low' numbers were collected from the Island Sanctuary. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

18/11/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses. 'High' moquitoes numbers (234), which is well above average, were trapped at the Racecourse, with 202 Culex annulirostris. 'Low' number were collected from the Island Sanctuary.

12/11/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

11/11/99: 'Low' mosquito numbers were collected from all sites.

4/11/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

2/11/99: The Racecourse site (Site 2) had 'medium' mosquito collections, below the long term average of 158. Only 10 of these were Culex annulirostris. The Island Sanctuary (Site 2) had 'low' numbers.

26/10/1999: All chickens tested negative for flavivirus from the initial bleed at Griffith.
