28/5/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

22/5/2000: Numbers were 'low' from both sites.

15/5/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses. Mosquito numbers were 'low' from the STW.

8/5/2000: Numbers were 'medium' (85) from the STW, with 45 Culex quinquefasciatus. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

3/5/2000: Numbers were 'high' from Oxley Street, with 85 Culex quinquefasciatus.

2/5/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

26/4/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

10/4/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

6/4/2000: Numbers are slightly down upon the previous week at Oxley Street, with a 'high' collection (135). Culex quinquefasciatus (80) was the most common species.

4/4/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

27/3/2000: The STW continues with 'high' numbers (309) and Culex annulirostris (185) dominated the collection. A big jump in the collections occured at Oxley Street with a 'high' collection (193), although most (179) were Culex quinquefasciatus. A collection from Tibooburra trapped 70 mosquitoes and most (67) were Culex quinquefasciatus. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

22/3/2000: Numbers are down upon the previous weeks. The STW had a 'high' collection (127), with 62 Culex annulirostris. Oxley Street trapped 'low' numbers. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

13/3/2000: Numbers are again 'high' (295) from the STW but down upon the previous week. Culex annulirostris (133) was the most common species. A collection from Tibooburra trapped (162) mosquitoes and most (105) were Culex quinquefasciatus.

6/3/2000: A considerable increase in the mosquito numbers from Bourke STW with many floodwater Aedes collected. The STW had a 'high' collection (939), with 506 Aedes eidsvoldensis. Oxley Street trapped 'low' numbers. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

4/3/2000: A single trap set at Culgoa National Park collected 'low' numbers with only 5 Aedes notoscriptus.

27/2/2000: 'Low' numbers (6) were trapped from Oxley Street, while the STW had a 'high' (377) collection, with 217 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

23/2/2000: The STW trapped 'high' numbers (274), with 126 Culex annulirostris and 124 Culex quinquefasciatus.

21/2/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

16/2/2000: A collection from Wonga Lilli yielded 'low' numbers (12).

14/2/2000: Big numbers were collected this week from Bourke. The STW had a 'high' collection (952), with 257 Culex annulirostris and 558 Culex quinquefasciatus. However, Oxley Street had low (20) numbers. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

8/2/2000: 'Low' mosquito numbers were trapped from Oxley Street. The STW had 'low' numbers, but this was due to a partial trap failure. Another collection made later in the week from the STW yielded 'high' numbers (634), with 216 Culex annulirostris and 376 Culex quinquefasciatus. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

4/2/2000: Another two Ross River isolates were made from the STW from Culex annulirostris collected on 17/1/2000.

2/2/2000: One Ross River isolate was made from the STW from Culex annulirostris collected on 12/1/2000.

1/2/2000: The STW yielded 'high' mosquito numbers (163), with 41 Culex annulirostris and 118 Culex quinquefasciatus. Numbers were 'low' from Oxley Street. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

26/1/2000: 'Low' numbers of mosquitoes were collected from Oxley Street. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

17/1/2000: The STW had 'high' numbers (800), with 758 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

11/1/2000: Mosquito trapping started at the new sites of the Sewage Treatment Works (STW) and Oxley Street. The STW had 'high' numbers (807), with 691 Culex annulirostris. Oxley Street had 'low' numbers. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

3/1/2000: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

20/12/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

13/12/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

6/12/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

29/11/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

25/11/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
