26/4/99: Site 1 had low numbers. Medium numbers were collected (70) from site 2, with 65 Cx. quinquefasciatus.

20/4/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

18/4/99: Site 1 & 2 had low numbers.

14/4/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

11/4/99: Site 1 had low numbers. Site 2 had high numbers (228), with 212 Cx. quinquefasciatus.

7/4/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

5/4/99: Site 1 had low collections. Site 2 had high numbers (150), with 135 Cx. quinquefasciatus.

28/2/99: Site 1 had high numbers (126), with 85 Cx. annulirostris. Site 2 had medium collections (71), with 59 Cx. quinquefasciatus.

24/2/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

21/2/99: Site 1 had medium numbers (90), with 70 Cx. annulirostris. Numbers were high (125) from site 2, although most (110) continue to be Cx. quinquefasciatus.

17/2/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

14/2/99: Medium numbers (50) were collected at site 1, with 33 Cx. quinquefasciatus. Site 2 had high collections (), with 136 Cx. quinquefasciatus.

7/2/99: Numbers were low at site 1. Medium collections (93) were made from site 2, although most (90) are Cx. quinquefasciatus.

3/1/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

31/1/99: High mosquito collections (121) were made at site 1, with 82 Cx. annulirostris. Site 2 had medium numbers (85) with 69 Cx. quinquefasciatus.

27/1/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

24/1/99: Low mosquito numbers were collected at site 1. Medium collections (73) were made at site 2, with Cx. quinquefasciatus (61) being the most common species.

20/1/99: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.

17/1/99: Low mosquito numbers were collected at site 1. Medium mosquito collections (53) were made at site 2, with the majority (44) being Cx. quinquefasciatus.

12/1/99: All chickens were tested negative from the initial bleed at Griffith.

10/1/99: Low mosquito collections were made at site 1. Site 2 had high numbers (119), with 100 Cx. quinquefasciatus.

3/1/1999: Medium collections (61) from site 1, with 29 Cx. annulirostris. Site 2 had medium numbers (89), however the majority (85) were Cx. quinquefasciatus.

27/12/98: Low number from both sites.

20/12/98: Low number from both sites.

13/12/98: Medium numbers (78) from site 1, with 49 Cx. annulirostris. High collections (125) from site 2, although very low numbers of Cx. annulirostris.

6/12/98: Site 1 again yeilded high mosquito numbers (254), however very few (9) were Cx. annulirostris, the majority being Cx. quinquefasciatus. High numbers at site 2 (331 c.f. with the average of 69), and 208 were Cx. annulirostris (considerably greater thatn the long term average of 8).

29/11/98: Mosquito numbers are again high (329) at site 1 and roughly 3 times the long term average, a high number (279) being Cx. annulirostris. Site 2 had high numbers (156) with a low collection (16) of Cx. annulirostris.

22/11/98: Site 1 yeilded 117 mosquitoes (which is close to the long term average), with 80 Cx. annulirostris, and this is much greater than the Cx. annulirostris long term average of 9. Again, high numbers (240) from site 2, with very few (1) Cx. annulirostris.

15/11/98: Low numbers were collected at site 1. Medium numbers (79) collected from site 2, with only 2 Cx. annulirostris.

8/11/98: There was one Ross River virus isolated from a pool of Cx. annulirostris collected at site 1 from this week. Total mosquito numbers again much greater than average at site 1 (323 c.f. the average of 89), and Cx. annulirostris still high with 158 collected. Site 2 yeilded high numbers (288) but very few (7) were Cx. annulirostris.

1/11/98: High numbers (330) of mosquitoes from site 1, and this is over double the location long term average for this time of the year. Of these, 179 were Cx. annulirostris, many times the long term average of 29. Site 2 also had total mosquito numbers much greater than normal (a total of 501 compared with the average of 144), although only 9 were Cx. annulirostris.
